MUS 322 - Electronic Music II

3 credits
Prerequisites: MUS 223 or permission of instructor
A survey of the historical development of eletronic music in techno, hip-hop, and rock genres will be combined with technical instruciton in the studio to recreate “old-school” sounds, as well as make new sounds that push the boundaries of the contemporary scene. Building upon the technical knowledge of the prerequisite courses, students will continue to develop their fluency in Max/MSP, ProTools, Peak, and Ircam software, as well as be introduced to Reason.
