MAR 535 - Biological Statistics I

Lecture
Prerequisite(s): MTH 113 or permission of instructor. Statistics theories and application at the introduction and intermediate level. The course also introduces useful and free (not commercial) software R. The main objectioves of the course are (i) to develop the ability to translate a biological hypothesis into statistical terms for objective evaluation and hypothesis testing, and (ii) to equip students with software skills necessary for efficient data analyses. The contents cover from the traditional tests to application of the linear and nonlinear models.
