ANT 386 - Sustainability in Action

A sociological exploration of the climate crisis, food, and sustainability issues. This course centers on the climate crisis, food and environmental justice issues to explore how communities are actively attempting to create more ecologically, socially, culturally, and economically sustainable systems. We pay special attention to how groups attempt to foster justice, equity, and respect for diverse cultures in their everyday practices. The class also actively engages a sustainability project.
