NUR 105 - Human Nutrition Credits 3Satisfies University Studies requirement: Science in Engaged Community Lecture / 3 hours per week Develops the learner’s knowledge of the major nutrients and their role in human function. It provides the foundation for understanding the relationship of nutrition to health, fitness, energy, weight management, longevity, and disease prevention. Nutritional strategies to promote the health of persons will be introduced. Identification of nutritional needs at each stage in the life cycle will be explored. Skills in written communication and computer data analysis will be enhanced by a dietary self-analysis. Graded
