DES 386 - Digital Video Production

Studio / 3 hours per week
Requirements: Prerequisite: DES 282 or 284 or permission of instructor
Digital video production, methods and techniques for creative, communicative and aesthetic purposes. This class examines preproduction, production and post-production processes for narrative, art and experimental time-based storytelling. Students learn and reinforce skills for planning, shooting, and editing video with contemporary digital video cameras, lighting, sound equipment and computer software. Conceptual development, display methods and exhibition opportunities will be emphasized.
