Marketing Post-Masters Certificate

Increasing competition and business globalization continue to influence the operation of organizations. Shifting competition, globalization, and E-Commerce have changed the way firms develop strategies both in consumer and business-to-business markets. For example, the integration of E-Commerce has made marketing of products a 24-hour, 7-day-per-week endeavor worldwide. In an attempt to address the challenges and changes in the business environment, Charlton College of Business offers a Post-Master’s Certificate in Marketing. The program emphasizes understanding of marketing trends, as well as the effect of domestic and global competitive environments on Southeastern Massachusetts business. With this in mind, the Post-Masters Certificate program in Marketing is designed for professionals holding advanced degrees wishing to improve and update their knowledge of marketing in business, government, and nonprofit organizations.

The program focuses on marketing strategy development, writing marketing plans, developing new products, understanding customer behavior, and utilizing E-Commerce in marketing. The learning process includes case studies, marketing projects for the area businesses, group presentations, and participation in professional meetings.
