Religious Studies Minor

Program Requirements (Minor)

The Religious Studies minor consists of 18 credits, distributed as follows:

Required Foundation Courses (6 credits)

REL 201 – Introduction to Religious Studies, Credits: 3

REL 395 (HST 395) – World Religions and Spirituality, Credits: 3

Elective Courses (12 credits)

Religious Studies minors must complete 12 elective credits, at least six of which must be numbered 300 or higher. Electives courses include all courses with the “REL” prefix and approved courses offered in other departments. Only one 300 level course can be shared between your minor and major out of these 6 courses. However, classes can count simultaneously for the Religious Studies Minor, University Studies and/or CAS requirements.
