Accreditation

UMass Dartmouth has full accreditation from the regional accrediting agency for New England higher education institutions:

Commission on Institutions of Higher Education (CIHE) of the New England Association of School and Colleges.

Some academic fields have external accrediting agencies which review and accredit academic programs or the campus, in addition to regional accreditation. These agencies accredit programs either at the undergraduate level only or at all levels of study.
