NUR 605 - Statistical Analysis3 credits Methods of exploring, organizing, and presenting data, and foundations of statistical inference. Particular emphasis is placed on practical application, rather than on mathematical theory. Topics covered include descriptive statistics, normal distributions, and t-tests. Specific statistical models presented include analysis of variance (ANOVA), analysis of covariance (ANCOVA), repeated measures ANOVA, simple linear regression, and logistic regression. Students will use the statistical package, SPSS, to manipulate and organize data.
