IAD 202 - Interior Architecture and Design Studio IV: Commercial

Requirements: Prerequisite: IAD 201
Focusing on design issues, this studio presents students with the criteria that must be considered when designing selling spaces: security, reach, access codes and display criteria. The two major goals of this course are to integrate plan and elevation in order to have students treat space volumetrically and to deal with design in a metaphorical, abstract and creative manner. Students learn how to expand their creativity as well as enhance product displays in small to medium-size design projects. Prerequisites: IAD 201 or, if transfer student, studio closest to sequence.
