ASC 510 - Evidence Based Practices in Autism Behavior ManagementCredits 3
Requirements: Prerequisite: BA or BS DegreeLecture / 3 hours per week
Evidence-based selection and use of appropriate intervention strategies. This course will highlight current research regarding assessment and intervention considerations in communication, social interaction and play. It will focus on developing an understanding of the role of families in the assessment and intervention of children and adolescents with ASD. Further, the course will create a framework for understanding and implementing effective interventions, and their strengths and challenges.
