Qualified students may complete a minor focused specifically in printmaking within the Department of Fine Arts. The minor consists of 18 credits. To declare a minor, students must meet university requirements and be approved by the both Fine Arts Department and the department of the major. Students must maintain a grade point average of 2.0 in all minor classes. A review of progress in the printmaking minor occurs during scheduled sophomore and/or junior reviews.
The student selects 12-15 credits from the first menu of studio courses (200-level) listed below and then chooses one (1) or two (2) upper-level independent study courses in printmaking.
A minor must be completed at the time of the degree and will be so noted on the student’s transcript. A student cannot be readmitted to the University to complete only a minor.
