Return to: Colleges, Departments, and Programs
Qualified students may complete a minor focused specifically in drawing. The minor consists of 18 credits. To declare a minor, students must meet university requirements and be approved by the both Art and Design Department and the department of their major. Students must maintain a grade point average of 2.0 in all minor classes. A review of progress in the drawing minor occurs during sophomore and/or junior reviews.
The student selects 12-15 credits from the menu of 200/300-level studio courses below and then chooses one or two upper-level courses in drawing.
A minor must be completed at the time of the degree and will be so noted on the student’s transcript. A student cannot be readmitted to the University to complete only a minor.
