Charlton College of Business Graduate Certificates
Charlton College of Business offers graduate certificates in Accounting, Business Analytics, Business Foundations, Finance, International Business, Leadership, Marketing, and Supply Chain Management and Information Systems. These graduate certificates are offered in flexible formats: online, blended, and in the classroom. These short, focused academic programs are designed to give working professionals advanced skills in specialized area. You must have earned a bachelor’s degree to be eligible for admission to a graduate certificate program.
Application Requirements:
Applicants apply for acceptance to the graduate certificate programs through the Graduate Studies Office. Application requirements include official college transcripts, statement of purpose (1- to 2-page essay), and resume. Applicants are not required to submit GMAT scores or recommendation letters.

Business Foundations Graduate Certificate
The UMass Dartmouth Business Foundations Graduate Certificate provides students with non-business bachelor’s degrees a solid understanding of business principles. Certificate holders gain greater expertise in key management fundamentals and the courses can also prepare you to further your education.
The program is compatible with our MBA foundation requirements, enabling certificate recipients to later transition into the MBA program. Certificate recipients who wish to apply for admission to the MBA program must follow the application requirements and process described elsewhere in this Graduate Catalogue. If admitted to the MBA program, the 600-level course successfully completed as part of the certificate program within the last five years shall be counted toward the MBA degree with the approval of the Assistant Dean of Graduate Programs in Charlton College of Business.

This 12-credit certificate program is designed to broaden and deepen the accounting knowledge of practicing professionals. It is an excellent way for students to enhance their skills and professional credentials in a competitive global business environment.

Students pursuing the Business Analytics Certificate will learn the skills, technologies, and concepts needed for managing and analyzing big and small data and creating impactful visualizations - from data to insight. Coursework across the certificate emphasizes hands-on experience with current industry software.

This 12-credit program provides business professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to successfully compete in rapidly developing global financial markets. The 12-credit certificate is designed for professional currently working in or aspiring to work in managerial positions in business, nonprofit or governmental organizations. The business skills needed in today’s leadership roles include the ability to lead, motivate and empower others; the skills to design and implement high-performing organizational structures; and the ability to effectively manage change in today’s dynamic environment. The leadership Certificate is a great option for students who want to continue their education at the graduate level or for fully employed individuals interested in career advancement or professional development.

This 12-credit certificate enables students to acquire a foundation in all facets of marketing.
