Fine Arts General Minor

Qualified students may complete a minor in Fine Art General within the Art + Design Department. The minor consists of 18 credits. To declare a Fine Art General Minor, students must be a degree candidate who has earned at least 24 credits, with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0 and a minimum 2.5 grade point average in their major.
Students select 4 courses (12 credits) from the 200-level studio course list and then 2 courses (6 credits) from the 300-level course list.
Note: Students must pass sophomore and/or junior level reviews prior to moving to advanced level courses.

Note: Established prerequisites for 300-level classes will be applied. Passing the Junior Review (in the area of the majority of the coursework) will be necessary to complete the Fine Arts General minor.
