To transfer to the economics B.S., a student already enrolled at UMass Dartmouth in another major (or undeclared) must first complete ECO 231, Principles of Microeconomics; and ECO 232, Principles of Macroeconomics, and receive a grade point average of 2.5 or higher in these two courses with have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.

Introductory-level major requirements
Upper-level electives
6 credits of 300- or 400-level ECO courses.
Notes
Students must achieve a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.000 in courses required for the Economics major.
University Studies Requirements
In addition to the requirements in the major, students will be required to complete the University Studies requirements. For more information click here.
College of Arts and Sciences Requirements
In addition to the requirements in the major and University Studies requirements, students will be required to complete the College of Arts and Sciences BS Requirements and the following Applied Data and Math Requirement. Courses taken for University Studies may also count for College of Arts and Sciences requirements.
Applied Data and Math: 6 credits
Choose 6 credits from: CIS180 or higher CIS class, DAN231, DAN301, MTH150 or higher MTH class.
