MUS 307 - Topics In Music Therapy

3 credits
Prerequisites: MUS 305
Integration of theory and practice in music therapy through in-class presentations and field experience. Students are required to prepare and present a short-term music therapy activity project for a specific community setting in the first seven weeks of the semester. Students then implement this activity project by giving a case presentation to the class and video taping their case work. Practicum sites may include a school, day care center, residential facility, or community center.
