NUR 705 - Theory Construction, Synthesis and Application to Practice

Analyses the theoretical dimension of nursing and the influence of differing perspectives on scientific and practice knowledge.  Emphasis on methods in theory construction, synthesis and evaluation.  Development of creative strategies to bridge the theory-research-practice boundaries. Explores the relationship between theoretical thinking and emerging trends shaping nursing science practice (international languages, evidence-based practice).
