PHL 322 - The British Empiricists Credits 3 Central philosophical issues, both historical and critical, in the writings of Locke, Berkeley, and Hume. Topics include a selection from: innate ideas; substances and essences, personal identity; abstract ideas; theory of language; perception; materialism and idealism; induction; causation; or skepticism.
