MGT 677 - Lead,Motiv,Empowr OthersCredits 3 Lecture / 3 hours per week Fundamentals of collaborative work as they occur in traditional, hierarchical and empowered workplaces. More than ever before, contemporary workscapes require joint effort whether between multiple individuals, groups, organizations or nations. The course reviews selected theories of leadership, motivation, empowerment, communication and learning. Further, the course explores their application to today’s workplace and considers differences in these actions upward, downward and laterally. The course provides a highly interactive setting in which participants can assess and develop interpersonal skills necessary to influence others. Graded
