Philosophy Minor

A minor must be completed at the time of the degree and will be so noted on the student’s transcript.  A student cannot be readmitted to the University to complete only a minor.

Principles of Critical Thinking

Complete PHL 110.

History of Philosophy

One course, three (3) credits, in the history of philosophy.

Area of Concentration Electives

Philosophy 300-400 Level Electives. Complete 6 credits.

Philosophy Seminar

One three (3) credit Philosophy Seminar.

Philosophy Electives

Complete 3 Philosophy units at any level.

Total credits: 18

Note

Selection of philosophy as a minor requires that the grade point average in one’s major be at least 2.5.
