Political Science Minor

Students choosing to minor in Political Science must have at least a 2.5 average in all Political Science courses and at least a 2.0 cumulative grade point average. Students must formally declare the minor by the end of their fifth semester and must have earned at least 54 credits. Appropriate forms will be available from faculty advisors in the Political Science department.

A minor must be completed at the time of the degree and will be so noted on the student’s transcript.  A student cannot be readmitted to the University to complete only a minor.

Requirements


The minor in political science consists of 21 credits. Minor course credits must be taken with at least three different professors. Students will be required to take two, 100 level foundation courses, and 5 elective courses, with at least one of these electives at the 400 level and no more that one course at the 200 level.

Political Science 300 Level Electives


Nine (9) credits required at the 300 level.

Political Science 400 Level


 Political Science 400 Level . Three (3) credits required.

Political Science Any Level Electives


Three (3) credits required.

Total credits: 21
