Visual Design Minor

Qualified students may complete a minor in Photography within the Visual Design Department. The minor consists of 18 credits. To declare a Photography Minor, students must be a degree candidate who has earned at least 54 credits, with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.000 and a minimum 2.500 grade point average in their major.

DES 281 - Photo Imaging I Credits: 3
DES 282 - Photo Imaging II Credits: 3
DES 332 - History of Photo Credits: 3
DES 381 - Photo Imaging III Credits: 3
DES 382 - Photo Imaging IV Credits: 3

Electives

Take at least 3 elective credits from the following list:

DES 385 - Studio Photography Credits: 3
FIA 288 - Photo Processes & Printmaking Credits: 3
FIA 311 - Composition & Design Credits: 3

Total Credits: 18

*Up to three credits of Senior leve are allowed if a student successfully passes Junior Year Review.
