CEN 562 - Water Resources Planning and Management

3 credits
Prerequisites: CEN 443 or equivalent
Relationship of hydrology and hydraulics with the ultimate goal of designing a project. Concepts of precipitation, runoff, hydrograph analysis, frequency analysis, flood routing, hydrologic synthesis, and simulation techniques for large basins as well as urban and small watersheds. Also included are backwater curves, submerged weirs, and water hammer. Note: Some graduate courses may be open to undergraduates. Please consult your department chairperson.
