FIN 384 - Advanced Investment Analysis

3 credits
An examination in greater depth of subjects covered in the foundation investment analysis course and an introduction to recent innovations in the field. Emphasis is given to the place of derivatives in the portfolio, the active management of risk and the management of retirement asets and pension funds. Assignments include case studies involving the use of computer software and reports requiring an analysis of current research literature.
