MUS 394 - Seminar in Advanced Topics in Electro Acoustic Music

3 credits
Prerequisites: MUS 223 and permission of instructor
Rotating topics covered in this class will include: advanced synthesis techniques, digital signal processing, electronic instrument building and performance, interactive sound installations, and interactive video. Continuing development of fluencyin Max/MSP programming language from MUS 223. A feature of the class will be working with physical controllers (proximity sensors,  infrared sensors, flex sensors, pressure sensors) that will work with Max/MSP, which will be used in the final project. May be repeated with change of content.
