POM 345 - Operations Management

3 credits
Prerequisites: MGT 333 and at least junior standing
The planning, coordination, and execution of activities in transformation processes in manufacturing and service organizations where the inputs to the process may be the customers themselves. The role of the operations manager is explored, and attention is given to analytical methods that improve production processes and enhance competitiveness.
