ECO 311 - Intermediate Macroeconomics Credits 3 Lecture / 3 hours per week Requirements: Prerequisite: ECO 300 or permission of instructor A one-semester course in contemporary intermediate macro theory. Covers issues in economic growth, unemployment, and inflation. Develops and contrasts the New Classical (equilibrium) and Neo-Keynesian (disequilibrium) models in the aggregate demand/aggregate supply framework for both closed and open economies. Policy implications of each model are discussed. Introduces students to sources of macroeconomic data. Graded
