BIO 107 - Biology of Genetic Disease Credits 3Satisfies University Studies requirement: Science in Engaged Community Lecture / 3 hours per week Fundamentals of genetic disease and disorders. Explains the role of genes in causing disease and disorders and the prospects that genetic information will help prevent, treat and cure diseases. This course also presents the ethical issues and social context of medical genetics.
