Medical Laboratory Science Option Online

The UMass Dartmouth Department of Medical Laboratory Science offers nationally certified Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLT) an online baccalaureate degree completion program. The program builds on the MLTs experience providing a more in-depth study of the didactic information and clinical experiences necessary for national certification as Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS). The program is accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Science. Transferability of previous credits will be evaluated on a case by case basis. A total of 120 credits are required for the baccalaureate degree.
