Program Outcomes
After completing the B.S. in Healthcare Administration, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate competence in critical thinking and problem-solving in healthcare settings.
- Demonstrate competence in consensus-building, effective decision-making, and execution of an objective in a team setting.
- Display effective professional communication skills, both orally and in writing.
- Demonstrate competence in basic business operations, budgeting, and data analysis using the ethical standards of health care administrative practice.

Requirements
Required (core) requirements: Students must achieve a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.000 in courses required for the major. Total credits: 45 Additional Requirements

After completing the HSA track in economics, students will be able to: - Explain the influences of national and facility level economics, national and state legislation and regulation on the day-to-day structure and function of their profession
- Evaluate the achievement or failure of management goals with theoretical concepts of social dynamics.
- Design and implement goal structures, budgets and evaluative techniques in their specific discipline.
