MGT 415 - Applied Decision Models

3 credits
Prerequisites: MGT 333; and at least junior standing; for business majors only
Manufacturing and service applications of selected analytical decision-making tools and techniques. The course illustrates, by example, how manufacturing and service operations can apply quantitative tools to decisions using queuing theory; staffing, scheduling or product mix planning using linear programming; and using simulation in inventory control.
