PSC 338 - Women as Citizen

three credits
The role played by gender, race and class in defining citizenship.  An important theme for analyzing the citizenship status of women stems from the public/private dilemma.  The course material will develop a critical analysis of that dilemma and how with corollary concepts the citizenship status of contemporary American women is defined.
