NUR 515 - Organizational Behavior and Leadership in Healthcare Organizations

Requirements: Prereq: NUR 500 & 520 or matriculation in the Masters in Healthcare Mgmt programLecture / 3 hours per week
Addresses concepts and theories of health care leadership including transformation, collaboration, and management. This course provides students the opportunity to examine the politics of organizations, explore authentic leadership and its influence on leading and following, and identify disruptive innovations and strategies to manage them in complex organizations. The course prepares students for practice in an expanded role to lead change in a variety of settings, including but no limited to hospitals.
