EDU 622 - Curriculum in its Social Context

An examination of the roles and enactments of curriculum in our schools. Students will critique curriculum through analysis of current and historical events and scholarship. Issues and practices across subjects, grades, and settings will be considered. Students will examine the personal, political, professional, and corporate interests involved in curriculum development from a culturally-responsive perspective.
