The objective of the minor is to give students a broad understanding of the principles and practices needed to make financial decisions in corporations, institutions and in the management of investments. Students will develop an array of analytical skills and sharpen their knowledge of how financial institutions and markets function in a global environment.
Students eligible to declare the minor must have an overall GPA of 2.5 and have completed 54 credits. The “Request for a Minor” form must be completed and submitted to the Registrar. Students meet the requirements of the minor by completing all of the 8 courses listed below with a minimum GPA of 2.5 in the eight courses.
